Air Base Communications Directorate

When the United States Air Force deployed an Enterprise Service Desk model that required Tinker Air Force Base to migrate from a Private to a Public Internet Protocol (IP), Diligent migrated all consolidated servers and related web sites and applications with minimal base mission downtime. This effort required the manual modification of multiple applications and reconfiguration of hundreds of servers with new server names, IP addresses and network domains.

To ensure a successful, effective and efficient transition Diligent prepared and presented educational briefings to base personnel and also performed numerous site surveys. The Diligent team also enabled significant cost avoidance for the logistics center through network services access that met mission needs and requirements.

The air base Director of Communications stated, “[Diligent’s] efforts on behalf of the Communications Directorate are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the consistent hard work and dedication.”
